QuestModeLife is built on a simple principle: Your data belongs to you, not us.

Unlike most productivity apps, we:

  • ✅ Don’t store your data - Everything saves in your browser’s localStorage
  • ✅ Don’t sell data - There’s nothing to sell because we don’t collect it

What We Do Collect

Nothing.

Seriously. When you use our tools:

  • Your mission statements, goals, habits, and stats stay on your device
  • We never see, access, or store your personal information
  • There are no servers saving your data
  • No database storing your habits

Technical Information (Minimal)

Our hosting provider (Vercel/Netlify) may collect:

  • Basic server logs (IP address, browser type)
  • Page visit counts
  • Error logs for debugging

This is standard web hosting infrastructure. We don’t use this data for tracking or analytics.

How Your Data Works

All QuestModeLife tools use localStorage - a browser feature that saves data directly on your device.

What this means:

  • 📱 Your data stays on YOUR device
  • 🔒 We literally cannot access it
  • 💾 It persists between visits (same browser, same device)
  • 🗑️ You can clear it anytime (browser settings)
  • 📴 Tools work offline after first load

Important Notes:

  • Clearing browser data deletes your saved information
  • Different browsers = different data (not synced)
  • Private/Incognito mode won’t save data
  • We recommend exporting PDFs of important work

Cookies

We don’t use cookies for tracking or analytics.

The only “cookie” we might use:

  • Dark mode preference - So the site remembers your theme choice

That’s it. No advertising cookies. No tracking cookies. No third-party cookies.

Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services:

Email (for contact form only)

  • If you contact us, we receive your email
  • We don’t share it or add you to marketing lists
  • We only respond to your inquiry

CDN (Content Delivery Network)

  • Loads fonts and icons faster
  • No tracking, just faster load times

Data Exports

All tools have export functionality:

  • 💾 Own your data forever
  • 🔓 No vendor lock-in
  • 📤 Share or print as needed

We encourage exporting important work since browser data can be accidentally cleared.

Children’s Privacy

Our service is designed for ages 13+. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13 (though we don’t collect data from anyone).

If you’re a parent and concerned, note that:

  • No account creation required
  • No personal information collected
  • All data stays on the device
  • You can clear browser data anytime
